Product Review: L’Oreal Go 360 Clean Cleanser with The Scrublet!

Friday, July 26th, 2013

I am so excited that Marshall’s has finally come to Canada, and especially excited that it’s only about 30 minutes away from where I live. Needless to say, I’ve been there multiple times since it opened a few weeks ago, and already have a heap of favourite Marshall’s purchases hanging out in my house. One of my favourite finds so far is the totally amazing Go 360 Clean Deep Exfoliating Scrub from L’Oreal – and I love it so much that I just had to share it with you!

I had heard of this product before (possibly a tv commercial or magazine ad), but had never actually seen it in a store before. There are 4 different cleansers available, all of which focus on different things like moisturizing, exfoliating, etc. Since I already have a favourite cream cleanser, I decided to give the citrusy exfoliator a try – and I’m so glad I did!

I’m not normally one to speak highly of any one kind of beauty product, but there are a select few that I feel I couldn’t live with out. After only a few days of using it, this one easily shot to the top of the list.

What’s so cool about it, you ask? Not only does the cleanser have exfoliating beads built into it (that are still gentle enough for everyday use) it also comes with a cute little scrublet! I’m a total sucker for cool looking packaging, and I was initially drawn to this product by the way the little scrubby fits within the packaging of the bottle. Since purchasing the cleanser, I’ve gone on a few weekend trips (and even moved!) and had no problem keeping both the cleanser and the scrubby together as one. It’s also suctioned on one end, so you can easily attach it to your mirror or shower as well.

The scrublet itself is made out of a silicone-like material, and is covered in dimply bumps to help massage off makeup and other impurities. Since switching over from regular face wash, to using this cleanser with the scrublet, I have noticed a huge change in how smooth my skin actually feels. I literally had no idea that my face could be that soft –  and don’t want to think about all the buildup that I thought my previous cleanser was removing!

Since this facial cleanser & scrubby is hand powered (you scrub in circles), obviously it won’t be as good as electronic cleansers like Clearsonic or Wave. However, for those of us wanting a better facial cleanser experience without have to drop $50+, this is a fantastic option! I paid $7 for this find at Marshall’s, but I believe it ranges from $8-$10 at local drug stores such as London Drugs, Shoppers Drug Mart and Wal-Mart.
