Langley 2010 Olympic Torch Relay Celebrations

Fraser Valley Pulse HQ is in Langley, so this is the celebration we’ll be at.  Hope to see you there!

The Olympic flame will arrive in Langley just before 9AM on Monday, February 8th.  The torch will first arrive in Walnut Grove at 8:50AM, and will continue through to Fort Langley, Aldergrove and then Willoughby.  Click here for a map of the route through the Township of Langley.

For those in the City of Langley, celebrations begin at town hall at 1PM.  Celebrations at City of Langley town hall will include performances by Langley’s West Coast Contortion and the amazing Destineak.  The torch will be arriving at 200th Street at Langley By-Pass at 2PM.  Click here to see the route through Langley City.

Join the Township of Langley from 10:30AM – 1PM for a free, outdoor celebration at the Langley Events Centre - lighting of the community cauldron, entertainment, and community spirit!  The fun will be moved indoors from 1 – 5PM with loads of free entertainment for adults and children.  Celebrations are also taking place at the Fort Langley National Historic Site, and in downtown Aldergrove.

Get your tickets now for the Slovak & Russian women’s Olympic hockey teams’ game at 7PM.  What a great day to end a day of celebration!
