Vancouver Christmas Market

Sunday, December 1st, 2013

It’s been a few years since my husband and I first attended the Vancouver Christmas Market. I was thrilled to see how it has grown! On now until December 24th, the market is located outdoors at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre Plaza.

This traditional German-style market is a great place to visit with your family this holiday season. There is live entertainment and fantastic traditional German gifts and products. The carousel kept my little guy happy, along with face painting, gingerbread cookie decorating; candle decorating was available, too.

If you’re hungry, be sure to check out the wood fire oven baked pizzas and all of the other tasty food vendors. The German Bratwurst was my favourite. Only at a traditional German market could I sneak that one into my diet, but every bite was worth the calories :) We also enjoyed fresh fruit kebabs (you CAN cover in chocolate, if you wish) and, of course, some traditional Glühwein.

Disclosure: Our tickets, meals and carousel rides were complimentary. All thoughts are my own.
