Lavender.  When we hear the word, we imagine the pleasing aroma, a calming feeling, tiny purple buds, peace, relaxation, tranquility. Imagine if you had the opportunity to live surrounded by these amazing plants.  Robyn Wyman of Full Bloom Farm does, and we absolutely love that this little piece of paradise is so close to home!

Full Bloom Farm is a tranquil space nestled amongst a number of other gorgeous South Langley farms. Robyn and husband Greg planted their first lavender plants in 2004.  Both came from a gardening background, but agree that this labour of love is their masterpiece.  Full Bloom Farm grows different varieties of lavender, which they use to make natural beauty products.  Available for purchase are Lavender Body Wash, Body Lotion, Body Oil, Body Mist, Salt Scrub, Bath Salts, & lovely lavender sachets.  All are prepared in small batches on-site, to ensure optimal freshness.  Lavender is soothing, calming, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and it assists with sleep.

picture-4Full Bloom Farm is open to the public from May to September, Thursday to Sunday 11AM – 5PM. One can enjoy strolling through the lavender fields, picking their own fresh lavender bundle to take home, enjoy the scented formal gardens, or shopping in the adorable farm gate store.

July 4th & 5th (10AM – 4PM) is the Full Bloom Farm 3rd Annual Lavender Festival.  Everyone is invited to drop by, admission is just $5/car load. Enjoy a walk through the lavender fields, live entertainment, food & refreshments, music, face painting, aromatherapy gardens and much more family fun. Last year there were upwards of 1500 folks in attendance – so best make use of the $5/car load and carpool with your friends!

Robyn’s background is in spa and aromatherapy, and it is her intention to create a space to enjoy relaxation, wellness and peace.  Full Bloom Farm offers wonderful massage treatments and fabulous yoga classes.  We can only imagine how fabulous either would be at such a peaceful paradise.  Definitely on our 2009 to-do list!

Full Bloom Farm has kindly shared a few fabulous products to gift to one of our readers.  Please email BLOOM to win@fraservalleypulse.com if you are interested in this gift set of luxurious natural body products made here in the Fraser Valley.
