A couple of months ago, we received a tip that there was a great shop in Chilliwack which sells eco-friendly clothing, home accessories and more. An eco-friendly boutique in the Fraser Valley? We’re so there!
Owned and operated by the lovely Donna Gumprich, All Things Being Eco is an eco-chic lifestyle boutique. You will find everything from cleaning products, beautiful home decor, gorgeous clothing, fun accessories, jewellery, safe baby toys, eco-friendly stationary and much more. Anorganic discount outlet, you’ll save 10 – 60% off what you’ve seen these great products elsewhere. Score!
Donna brings in fashionable clothing made from recycled pop bottles, bamboo and other organic fibres, including Vancouver designersLela Designs, Nixxi, Lav & Kush and more. All Things Being Eco’s objective is to teach people to use what they have, and regularly host FREE seminars for products they sell.Contact All Things Being Eco to find out when the next seminar is, to find out more about beauty products, household cleaning products, and more… much of which is made in Canada!
The story of how All Things Being Eco came to be is adorable. Donna had been retired for a few years, raising her young daughter. Now that her daughter had been in school full time for a few years, Donna decided she’d like to go back to work. Deciding to talk it over with her little one first, Donna asked her how she would feel about Mommy going back to work. “Only if you do something to help the environment,” was the answer. How cute is that? So Donna got to researching and investigating her options, and All Things Being Eco was the solution. What an insightful little girl!
While visiting this fabulous boutique, I picked up a Bazura Bag made by women in India. These bags are made from vintage tapestries, old tribal wall hangings and/or blankets. It is absolutely beautiful – gorgeous colours, golden threads and wooden handles… one of a kind!
The next big time of year for All Things Being Eco is back to school. They’ve got notebooks and more from The Great Elephant Poo Poo Paper Company, Eco Jot, and Re-Cover Journals. Bring your little one in to find a super fun backpack or other bag from Bazura Bag’s line of recycled drink containers, or a pack of fun Smencils.
Thanks, Donna, for opening such a unique, fun store in the Fraser Valley!
