Frugal Fun – Fraser Valley Beaches

Thursday, July 5th, 2012

Is there anything better than the first summer dip into one of British Columbia’s gorgeous lakes, rivers and beaches? Summer vacation is just around the corner and this activity is on everyone’s mind!

Our team agrees that one of the best summer activities in the Fraser Valley is to hit up one of our local beaches for a swim. Pack a snack and a couple of bottles of water, your swimsuit, sunscreen and a towel – and you’ve got yourself a few hours of fabulously frugal fun! Even better? Gather up the whole family, prepare/pack some sandwiches and other picnic items, and make a whole day out of it!

We love the idea of bringing along a bucket & spade to build sandcastles, too. You’re never too old to build a sandcastle!

Here are some map links to a few of our favourites.
