Contest: Warner Bros. presents Ladies Night Out + The Lucky One

Tuesday, April 3rd, 2012

On Monday, April 16th, Warner Bros. is hosting a special pre-screening ‘Ladies Night Out’ event to promote the upcoming release of The Lucky One.  From 5:00-6:30pm, guests are invited to Milestones Grill + Bar to mingle with friends, enjoy tasty treats and enter for a chance to win a number of great gifts including a copy of the Nicholas sparks bestseller.  Following this event, guests are invited to attend a special advance screening at Towne Cinema Centre at 7:00pm.

What a great way this will be to enjoy a fun night out with a bunch of local ladies and to check out this exciting new movie before anyone else! THE LUCKY ONE opens in theatres on Friday, April 20th.

We have a soft spot for romance and this movie trailer has us gushing already! To read more about the film or to watch the trailer, see below.

“Based on Nicholas Sparks’ bestseller, the romantic drama “The Lucky One” stars Zac Efron (“17 Again,” “Charlie St. Cloud”) and Taylor Schilling (TV’s “Mercy”) under the direction of Academy Award®-nominated writer/director Scott Hicks (“Shine,” “No Reservations”).

U.S. Marine Sergeant Logan Thibault (Efron) returns from his third tour of duty in Iraq, with the one thing he credits with keeping him alive—a photograph he found of a woman he doesn’t even know.  Learning her name is Beth (Schilling) and where she lives, he shows up at her door, and ends up taking a job at her family-run local kennel.  Despite her initial mistrust and the complications in her life, a romance develops between them, giving Logan hope that Beth could be much more than his good luck charm.

Hicks directed the film from a screenplay by Will Fetters (“Remember Me”), adapted from the Nicholas Sparks novel The Lucky One.  The producers are Denise Di Novi, who previously produced film adaptations of the Nicholas Sparks novels “A Walk To Remember,” “Nights In Rodanthe” and “Message in a Bottle,” and Kevin McCormick (“Arthur”).  Ravi Mehta, Alison Greenspan and Bruce Berman served as executive producers, and Kerry Heysen as co-producer.”

We are excited to invite some of our readers along to this fun evening out. Please leave a comment below to be entered to win one of 25 double passes! That’s right, it’s girls night out! Enter to win, grab your best gal pal and meet us at the event on April 16th. Our team is excited and looks forward to seeing you there! Winners will be contacted April 10, 2012.

For an additional entry, please post the following on Twitter: “I entered to win passes to Ladies Night Out + The Lucky One with @FVPulse“.

Congratulations to all of our winners; this contest is now closed.

  27. Jeff Rivera says:

Nicholas Sparks is no doubt a great story teller. His stories are simply touching and really get to your heart. It’s really wonderful how his powerful stories grab people by the heart. I love the way he writes. He always writes from the heart and knows exactly what to do to pull those tears out of you. People don’t realize how difficult it is to be an author. Nicholas is definitely a hero of mine because as a published author too, I know how many hours and discipline it takes to really sit down and do it. You can have a one hit wonder, just like songs but Nicholas Sparks really knows how to pull our heart strings.
