In 2005, photographers Mark & Elizabeth Kowal were planning to move from Mission to downtown Vancouver. They dreamed of opening a studio in Gastown, and found a number of great locations.  Of course, life sometimes has different plans for us all.  A friend suggested Mark & Elizabeth check out an old chapel for sale in Chilliwack. They went, they saw, they fell in love.  Soon after, White Album Weddings set up shop in 1886 Wedding Chapel.

Pulse Spotlight, March 23/09 – Precision Acrobatics – Maple Ridge

Since we can barely touch our toes on a good day, one can imagine our fascination with the girls of Precision AcrobaticsCaara Cridland & Samantha Hall are Contortionists/Acrobats/Dancers/Aerial Flyers.  That’s quite the job title, and when you see these girls in action – you’ll agree that they deserve it!  Caara & Samantha were dancers from a young age, and for the past six years they have been performing professionally with Westcoast Contortion and Acrobatics. Both girls have recently performed in Las Vegas with Champagne Showgirls.  They have also trained with former Cirque de Soleil contortionists and with Kristi Toguchi of Las Vegas, for Aerial Silk training.
