Sunday, March 7th, 2010The 2010 Paralympic Torch Relay makes it way through Maple Ridge this Wednesday, March 10th. From 6:30PM – 8:00PM, be in Memorial Peace Park to catch all the Paralympic excitement! Over thirty torchbearers will carry the torch in a relay through Memorial Peace Park.
There will be great live entertainment from a number of talented locals including the Joe Fernandes Band, West Coast Contortion, Danielle Foulds, Tiller’s Folly and others. Participate in kids crafts, Paralympic sport demonstrations and much more!

The Vagina Monologues in Abbotsford

The Good Game
Wednesday, February 17th, 2010We recently had the opportunity to check out The Good Game, now playing at the Langley Players Drama Club. What a fabulous show – you’ve gotta check it out! The guys will love this tale of four aging hockey players reuniting for an old timers game.
This show by BC playwright Roy Teed was set to play for just a couple of more weeks, but we just learned that additional performances will take place on March 4th, 5th and 6th at 8PM. More opportunities for you to give it a try – we promise you’ll enjoy!
Shows run Thursday through Saturday at 8PM, with a Sunday matinee at 2PM.
