5 Fraser Valley Theatres to Visit

Sunday, September 18th, 2011

One of my best memories from elementary school was the year every class had the chance to participate in the performance of the Annie musical. There was something to be said for the lights, the stage, the slightly-off-key choir and the camaraderie of everyone pulling together to make an unforgettable recital that had me hooked. While I soon realized that my inability to act prevented me from ever being a Broadway star, to this day I’m still inexplicably excited before the performance of live theatre.

Now, as the leaves fall and the rain starts to pour here in the lush Fraser Valley, the local theatre seems like a great idea.

Frugal Fun: Games Night In

Monday, January 24th, 2011

Social events certainly have a tendency of adding up quickly, especially if you enjoy regular evenings out with family and friends. Spending time with people you love is important, but if you aren’t careful, regular nights out on the town (wherever your destination) could leave you running short on your grocery money. Since this isn’t good for anyone, we’ve come up with a great Frugal Fun idea to help you continue being a social butterfly, without breaking the bank – plan a game night in! A Day in the Snow at Hemlock Valley Resort

Sunday, January 23rd, 2011

Check Hemlock’s road report before heading up.

What an absolute blast we had.
