  1. …back in Africa and I followed Ellen’s shows, now here in Vancouver I still do and now …there is an opportunity to see her in person on my doorstep!!!

    Pick me Pick me!

All the best for the show Ladies!

  2. Karen Borkowski says:

    What fun!

  3. Eva Jason says:

I really, really, need a day of laughter & inspiration! I’m feeling old (56 IS old, right?), worn out from suffering from a chronic condition (RA) for the last 10 years, AND a husband that gets lazier & more stubborn the older HE gets!
I would love to see these amazing women & hopefully have a light bulb or two come on whilst listening to their stories!

  4. Robyn says:

These women are amazing and I would love to be inspired by them! Pick Me!

  5. Carole says:

I would love the opportunity to go to the conference and be inspired by these amazing women. As A single mom, I would like to hear how Ellen Degeneres always has such a positive attitude and enjoyment of life, as well as listening to Suzanne Somers speaking about her ambition and longevity as an entrepreneur.

  6. Debbie says:

I’m learning how to step out of my comfort zone, I feel that these inspirational women will be just what I need. Thank you for the chance to change.

  7. Melanie says:

I will be 32 years old on august 12 and have been teaching preschool for the past 8 years until I injured my back 6 months ago. I aspire to work with Deaf children in the foster care system and to get certified as an ASL interpreter. Getting injured has made it difficult to see my dreams come true financially and added stress to my already frail health. I would love the opportunity to meet other strong woman like Marlee, a woman I respect and look up to and Ellen, a woman whose kind heart and fun spirit can always whip a frown back onto shape.

  8. Dale Kler says:

As a professional, I have seen and been inspired by many speakers…Zig Ziglar, Tim Timmons, etc. The problem? Every one of them was a man! It would be wonderful to be able to attend this event and hear the success stories and inspiring messages of women!

  9. Josette says:

This is why I NEED to go to this event. I’m an actor/writer approaching my 30’s and I need inspiration pronto! I want to live my dream and to continue doing my art but real life likes to kick me in the butt! Finances have been at an all time low and it’s really tough to find inspiration these days to continue doing what I love. I’m at a crossroads now, do I continue following my passion or do I “grow up and get a real job” as my strict Asian parents like to tell me? I have a feeling that these amazing women will give me the kick in the butt that I need (…and the good kind of kick too.)

  10. Sonja Bermingham says:

Pretty please with sugar on top!!! Please pick my sister, Syliva. She is the kindest person I know and would be so deserving of this amazing opportunity.

  11. Nancy says:

I could use some inspiration…please pick me!

  12. I need the kick-in-the-pants inspiration that these amazing women will offer!

  13. Brenda says:

Being in the presence of these awe inspiring women would be a dream come true for me.
To hear their speaches, and what they have to say, would be absolutely educational, and
motivating. It would be this year’s highlight for me,without a doubt! To spend a day in the
audience of strangers, and know when I leave I will have made alot of new friendships is
    a pretty good feeling!

  14. Aggie says:

I have recently gone through a few weeks that have really tested my strength and although I have learned that I am a much stronger person then I ever realized possible I would love a little boost to help me get back in full fighting shape… ready to take on the world again! This event sounds like just the thing… if I could afford the ticket I would have already purchaed one… sooo fingers crossed you pick me! Thanks!

  15. As a believer of the power within all of us, and event such as this brings the energy of like-minded women and our strength can only become stronger, resulting in a more focused, happy and well-rounded life and career. Would love to hear these speakers and have them inspire me.

  16. Gaye Bell says:

I would like to win a ticket for my Step Mom. She has been very depressed and I know these inspiring messages would give her the pick me up she needs. She loves Ellen’s laughter and zest for life and the rest of the speakers also sound awesome. Listening to a full day of wonderful women role models would be outstanding.I sure hope I win so I can brighten my Step Mom’s day with the ticket!!!!

  17. Rachel Kirkpatrick says:

Hello my name is Rachel and I am a huge Ellen fan. I am 20 years old and have been a huge fan of Ellen for many years but especially since I started the journey of coming out over 6 months ago. It has been tough but there is no way I would’ve been able to do it without her! Please let me go and see the woman who has shaped my life live! This would seriously mean the world to me. All the best.

Also, I work at a place called OMADA teambuilding and believe that teambuilding facilitation skills would be greated enhanced if I were able to attend the conference. Thanks and much love.

    Laugh. Dance. Ellen. Rachel.

  18. Linda says:

The opportunity to see these women would be a once in a lifetime event. Each and every one of them has such an amazing life story, with challenges they have faced beyond your wildest imagination. To hear these stories filled with personal strength, inspiration, and motivation would truly be life changing for me.

I am recently unemployed (by choice) and on a soul searching mission to find what to do next in my life. I am now 43 and have always been a workaholic striving to reach the top at every opportunity given to me. My mission is to find the right choice next in order to achieve the greatest success and happiness in my life. The words from these exceptional, powerful women could help to guide me in the right direction.

Won’t you please consider me for this fabulous opportunity.

  20. Diane G says:

I’m a 52 year old (nearly) mother of 2 girls aged 12 and 15. Help! I would love to spend a day with a bunch of women who can give me some uplifting, possitive words of wisdom as well as a good laugh, which I’m sure Ellen will provide.

p.s. I have no problem getting up on stage to dance with Ellen, if necessary.

  21. Krissie H says:

It is inspirational to hear women praising and encouraging women and being a school teacher, we are so often faced with adversity and judgment about the children we teach and I want to hear these powerful women’s words to allow me to rise above judgment and feel empowerd to continue to touch the lives of my students. It takes courage to become a successful woman and I would love to hear what words of wisdom these women have to offer. I also am such a huge fan of Ellen and am in awe of her life successes and accomplishments and all that she does for humanity and animals in the world. To hear her speak and see her live, would be a once in a lifetime experience that I will cherish forever! Also, my name is Krissie and I always loved Suzanne Somers since she played Chrissy on Three’s Company so it would also be amazing to hear her words!

  22. Katherine Smith says:

A friend of mine told me about this program. I want to win for my friend Linda. We are walking 60KM in the Weekend to End Women’s Cancers on the Saturday and Sunday following….. Everyone needs inspiration and I think these women presenters would be able to give it to us! we would have alot of ispiration to share with the rest of the walkers!

    Hello Fraser Valley Pulse people!

I present my top 6 reasons why I should attend this event

    6) Growing up with 6 older brothers the answer was always,”..cuz Rambo would!”,and I’m curious if they were right.
    5) It’s the 3 day anniversary since my birthday.
    4) I could finally wear my lucky sneakers and know they’ll work.
    3) I think Ellen will forgive me for missing her show….maybe not, perhaps I’ll record it.
    2) There’ll be chocolate right?
—-And the top reason I should attend the Power Of Women—-
    1) I am a woman without power, who lacks spirituality, balance, focus, passion, vitality, and above all else, direction. I believe this event will lead me in the right direction,to becoming who I was meant to be.
That’s my time, and I thank you for yours,
Phoenix (not just another funny face…but still a funny face)
