Contest: big feast bistro

CONGRATS TO OUR WINNER, TANIA D!

There is a tasty new eatery in Maple Ridge; it’s called big feast bistro.  We had the opportunity to check it out last week and it was YUMMY!

Open 7 days a week, big feast bistro serves creative breakfast and lunch fare from 8AM – 4PM.  It was lunchtime when we visited, so we tried a bigFeast salad – it was fabulous.  Our miniature friend Ryan tried the itty bitty feast – the perfect toddler-sized feast, served in a metal tray.  Go ahead, munchkins, throw it on the floor, it won’t break!  We’ll be back soon to try out some big feast breakfast, which looks delicious.  Blueberry Cornmeal Pancakes have been calling our names!

This awesome bistro has an open, urban flare.  Lots of windows, previously loved furniture – it’s awesome.  One of the best parts, besides the food, is that it’s super kid-friendly.  There were lots of mommies and munchkins dining at big feast, as well as local business folk in suits, even a table of firefighters!  There are sandwiches and a variety of great salads available for take out as well.

Please leave a comment below to be entered to win a $50 gift certificate to try out big feast bistro!  Thanks to Chef/Owner Mike, and happy anniversary readers! :)

This place looks fantastic!! The website is nicely done and I just love the fact that you have a private function room, many restaurants don’t have such a thing and I have looked for this exact thing for parties/birthdays etc as I am sure most people have.

How quick is the service? If I bring the kids, I at least want to feed them within 15 minutes or they start becoming impossible to entertain. Love the idea of the tray, the kids would really think that was cool.

  15. Barbara says:

  20. living in the fraser valley we often go for drives just to see what we can find out and about. with the new toll bridge it is a nice circle drive from Abbotsford over the Mission Bridge and then over to Mapleridge and Pitt Meadows and back across the new Golden Ears. We’ll be checking this place out next time we go that direction

    Thanks FV Pulse for sharing
