2010 Cloverdale Rodeo & Country Fair: On Now

Friday, May 21st, 2010

I had the opportunity to stop by the Cloverdale Rodeo & Country Fair as it opened its doors today.  I didn’t have a chance to check everything out, but here are a few teasers to show you that the 2010 Cloverdale Rodeo & Country Fair are going to be AWESOME!

The Country Fair is serious fun for all ages.  The sights, tastes and sounds of a busy fair were in full swing by the time I arrived.  Mini donuts, cotton candy, carnival games, face painting, psychic readings and some wild rides for kids and adults… fun stuff!

The Art Zone, Kids Zone, Trade Show and Agri Zone have all sorts of fun for the whole family.  Here are a few of the critters I met in the Agri Zone today – SO cute!  There were donkeys, cows, sheep, goats, horses, chickens and more.  Lots of baby animals, demonstrations and opportunities to learn a lot about farm animals.

Catch the parade tomorrow morning at 10AM – overly 80 floats, bands, clowns and more will be on hand to entertain and get you in the festival mood.  This is just the tip of the iceberg – there is plenty going on at the 2010 Cloverdale Rodeo & Country Fair!  Check out the live music concerts scheduled for this weekend, Desi Mela on Sunday, a free Ridley Bent concert on Sunday night, and of course the rodeo events.  For hours of operation and ticket information, please visit the Cloverdale Rodeo website.  And, new this year, there is a live stream of the rodeo events on their home page!
